recycled frank

i'll admit that this is a sketch i did for someone's zine about a year ago that just happened to fit today's topic. i always feel like a cheater when i do stuff like that.

Bonus post: Happy St. Valenstein's Day Monster

This isn't my official warm-up for the day, but a bonus ('cause there's nary a flower to be seen, but, hell, it is Valentine themed). My pal Jenn called with a request, the daughter of a friend of hers woke up this morning and wished her mom "Happy Valenstein's Day", and asked if I could create some sort of unholy Cupid/ Frankenstein's Monster hybrid to celebrate this newly coined holiday. This is what I came up with:

Marriage: The Frankenhamiltons

In honor of Drawbridge cornerstone Tim "T-Money" Hamilton's getting hitched this past weekend to his lady love MintJeannie Lee, I decreed today's topic on Drawbridge to be "Marriage".


Depicting the newly-minted Hamiltons as the Bride and Monster of Frankenstein says far, far more about me than it does the happy couple. Please join me in raising a glass to them in hopes for a long happy life together.
