When I was a wee one, my father (formerly a listener-to of hippie music) discovered Willie Nelson, and much of my earliest musical memories are of the illustrious Mr Nelson here. My default mental image of him is as a younger man, which I tried to capture above (with mixed results) and passed up the opportunity to draw him as the living embodiment of cragginess.

I can't find a picture of this doe-eyed dude looking tough anywhere. Willie “The Great” Nelson (16-0-1, 10 KOs) is a 6'3" 147 lb "welterweight" from Cleveland where, apparently, they put growth hormones in the drinking water.

I bought some Copic Markers over the weekend. I haven't had much of a chance to use them yet, but they seem like fun so far.
Also, did you know that Willie Nelson smokes DRUGS?!?!   He is setting a bad example to todays youth with his irresponsible behaviour, BAN HIM! ( ..and also Alcohol and all forms of fun. )
