Leonardo's Flying Maching
So we all know that Leonardo's winged flying machine was supposedly Bob Kane's inspiration for Batman. But Leonardo had a number of different flying machines. What if Bob Kane had chosen the spinning one instead of the winged one? We might have this guy instead of the caped crusader.

Me as the Karate Kid
When I was kid, there were probably 2 "moves" from movies that I enacted repeatedly. One of them was Luke hanging upside down and using the force to have his light saber come to him. I would actually hang upside down with something just out of reach, though I would still imitate this even right side up when something was out of reach, like at the kitchen table. Anyway, the second was obviously the Karate Kid crane kick. So therefore, here is me imitating the kick. Which would also explain why the posture isn't quite as good as it should be.

Feeling the Heat!
A little NBA commentary for you. Probably not very common on this blog. I don't know why this just came to me, but I had to go with it. And my first color post as well.

Snake Eyes vs. Storm Shadow
When I was a kid, one of my first and most influential comics was GI Joe #21, the silent issue. There were no world balloons. The story was told entirely through the artwork. It centered around the battle between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. I've been a fan of both those characters, as well as their creator, Larry Hama, ever since.

Salsa!

One really late entry for Salsa. I wanted to get this one after missing a few this week. Who knew selling a house was such hard work. You've got to keep everything tidy, and in working order. And apparently having comics piled up around the house is frowned upon.

Hellboy/Ghost Rider
Woo hoo! I can finally post my own work. Though I have to admit, I'm going to miss having my name in lights in the title of every post.

So, I've always wondered about combining Hellboy and Ghost Rider. I thought this theme would give me chance to experiment with this idea. It turned out looking more like Ghost Rider than Hellboy. I'm sure colors would help (making the head red).
Back at "The Kubert School" I recall having a class where I was taught how to do tonal coloring, but that all seems so long ago. I can't seem to remember much from those days.
