I had a Dr called Dr Mort for a while. Then there have been numerous Dr Slaughters. For many years there was a Dr Donald Duck practicing on the west coast of Scotland. He predated Disney's character. Anyway, both funny, so would almost certainly be rejected by the New Yorker itself.
