George Romero, in Night of the Living Dead, created a new entry to our lexicon of classic monsters, joining such luminaries as Bram "Dracula" Stoker, Mary "Frankenstein" Shelley and, uh, Wolfman Jack. To celebrate their creator's birthday I drew some anonymous zombies.
I broke about a week's fast from posting to do this topic, which was admittedly kind of custom tailored to my tastes. Initially I was going to draw the Simon Pegg/ Nick Frost "We're coming to get you, Barbara" scene from Shawn of the Dead as a tribute instead, but after seeing Natalie's lovely decapitated Pegg I'm glad I didn't have the chance to get reference.

George Romero - Happy 71st
Apparently I spend too much time fussing over my 'quick sketches' , well not today! Maybe because Mr Romero is such a gift to draw.
Happy Birthday sir and may you have many more.

Happy birthday George A. Romero
He turned 71 on Friday.
I drew a zombie in a space suit because
George never made that movie.
There's still time George!
