Dr. Strange

So I had my little joke drawing Dr. Hugo Strange earlier today, but with 2 hours to
go...I decided to do a sketch of THE Dr. Strange!
I even colored it(Unlike a certain Scottish artist I know).

It felt so good...

Dr. Strange's villain: DORMAMMU

Dr. Strange Day, huh? That's cool. I'm glad I made it just in time.

Above, Strange's arch villain, the dread Dormammu.

Needless to say, Dr. Strange and his cast were designed and created by Steve Ditko.

Strange Dr. Strange

My first experience of Dr. Strange is some B&W reprints in the UK drawn by Frank Brunner. Later I saw the B&W Ditko reprints. So when I eventually saw Dr Strange in colour...it looked wrong somehow.

Dr. Strange

My first gig at Marvel was to draw 11 pg short story of Dr. Strange. I finished drawing it at early spring of last year, and saw it being colored. Yet, it hasn't come out. I hope it doesn't fall through the crack in their archive. I really enjoyed drawing Dr. Strange even though prior to getting this gig, I've never read Dr. Strange comics before. He's tall, dark, handsome (well, at least in my head ), mysterious and has an awesome moustache! This is the character drawing I did to show my editor.

sorry, my internet wasn't working last night, so I didn't get to post this

Pretty sure I've never drawn Dr Strange before. He's pretty fun, what with all those squiggles and whatnot. I decided to go all 60's on him, and was sure to Ditko up his hands for good measure.

Dr. Strange?

Dr. HUGO Strange????
Or Professor as some call him?

That was the theme today right?
